Shuttle service from the airport to the hotel via Cloud 9 Shuttle is $9.00 per person. I drove past the hotel the other day and it looks very nice. Suites with kitchenettes are available. NOTE: To reserve at a special rate of $139.00 per night please call Roxanne at 858 633 9005.  This is NOT the normal reservations line so it may take a call back r two.  This is a favor she is doing for Lightworker.   The normal rates for this hotel are around $179-199 per night. There are other hotels reasonably close, though not what I would consider within walking distance. However I have seen groups of people choose a nearby hotel and ride share back and forth. It is VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE as August is tourist and racing season in San Diego and accommodations can get scarce.
