The following was submitted by Sharyl Jackson. She and several others host a Circle in the Seatle Washington area of the US. Guidelines for Circle of Light
A great deal of personal satisfaction from the feeling of "making a contribution" can be gained by being a part of a Circle of Light, especially one that feeds your passion and nourishes your soul. When you are doing that, you cannot help but nourish all God's kingdoms on Planet Earth. So, having said that, I intend to share some of what I have learned from hosting a Circle of Light for a number of years. My experience has been with a weekly meditation group focused on mutual support on our evolutionary paths, earth balancing and healing, personal wholeness, assisting those in transition both to and from the planet, creating a portal/vortex of energy, in general to support change in our lives and on the planet. Therefore, since that is my frame of reference, please keep that bias in mind as your read my guidelines. If you are thinking about creating a Circle of Light, take a bit of time to think about what you love and then how you can draw like-minded people to participate with you. Years ago when we started our group, the catalyst was Kryon (the Magnetic Master channeled by Lee Carroll). We all resonated with the Kryon material, so I got a copy of the Kryon mailing list and my friend Claudia placed a very small ad in our local New Age newspaper, and we began. Throughout the years the group has ranged from 2-13 people on any given night, but the numbers have really not seemed to matter. The work that we have done is incredibly powerful and life changing, not only for those in physical attendance, but also for those "who are there by intent." What matters is the clarity of focus and the purity of intent as we seek to bring Heaven to Earth. Decide what kind of circle you would love, then decide what your intentions, your guidelines, are: " To create a safe, sacred space where all paths are honored These intentions will change with you, but I do suggest that you spend some time thinking about how you would like to start. In the beginning, I was not very clear in my own mind or with the group, and one night a woman came who was very disruptive and had a different agenda. She attacked the beliefs of some of the group. It forced me to get very clear about what our forum was, and it was not to debate whose beliefs were the best or even for anyone to feel the need the defend their beliefs. My personal feeling is that meeting on a weekly basis is most effective as a rhythm is created, a sort of pulse. We meet at 7:00 to chat and share tidbits of information, handouts, workshop info, etc. Sometimes, one of the members of our group has a specific request for our group focus that night, which brings up a good point. While we do have a format which we follow, we are also very flexible and literally every week is different. The night before the 6.8 earthquake in Seattle, Washington on 2/28/01, we were guided to do earthwork for the entire hour. As some of you may know, there were no deaths in that earthquake and very little actual damage, and yes, we do think that we made a difference. Anyway, I digress. As close to 7:30 as possible we begin for what turns out to be about an hour of focus, which we have found to be the ideal amount of time for our purposes. At the end of the hour, we share plenty of water and a small snack along with some discussion about what we felt, saw or experienced. I do use candles and turn out the lights as well as turn off the phones. Some people sit, some lie down. I really don't care how people want to show devotion, since one's relationship to God is very personal, and I don't think it matters much how you hold your hands, etc. We have tried a number of different things, but as a group we agree that we like Robert Coxon's CD called The Silent Path for our hour together. It just seems to be the perfect journey for a group meditation. At 7:30 I do an invocation, which is always different. In fact, I know that this invocation is divinely inspired to set the energy for our work together on any given night. Other regular "segments" in the hour: " Time for individuals to set forth their own personal
intentions, visions, prayers, requests, messages, or anything that they
feel is appropriate Over the years, we have learned a number of techniques, expressions and ways to proceed that simply make the hour move smoothly as well as create maximum efficiency for what we are doing. One of the most important things that we do our best to remember is that we do not have the right to interfere with the free will of another, nor is it our place to decide what is best for another. Therefore, unless there is a specific request from someone to "heal my back," we refrain from telling God what to do assuming that we know what the Divine Plan is. Always, always, remember, "According to the will of God and the highest good of all!" Most times, the most effective thing we can do is simply anchor our light, be a vehicle for the Love and Light of God and hold in unconditional love and balance all of the energies on the planet. As Kryon has often told me, "Just one balanced human, Sharyl, just one balanced human!" Following I will give some varied examples of the kinds of things we might say which keep in mind these principles: " Invocation: Take a few deep breaths as we relax, releasing the worries and cares of the day. (Remember to use plenty of pauses to allow participants time to adjust). I now ask Archangel Michael to anchor pillars of light in the four corners of the room and activate the pillar of Light in the middle of the circle. I ask the elementals to anchor the four directions thus blending heaven and earth. I ask those representatives of the Feminine Principle, Mother God, to balance the male and female within us and within the our circle. Let us each shoot a beam of light from our hearts into the pillar of Light, seeing and knowing that we are all connected. Greet now and acknowledge all facets of Self: inner child, soul self, higher self, oversoul, Source self, I am Presence, Christed self, Shadow self, the Whole self in harmony and balance, acceptance and unconditional Love. See and know that you are surrounded by those who love and serve you. Thank and bless them for their commitment to you. We welcome the Family of Michael, the Kryon and the angels of magnetic service, Ramadon, The Group, Lord Metatron and The Lady of Light, Jeshua, St. Germaine (the list in endless and personal to each group on any given evening.) We welcome all those who are here by intent (fill in names.). And now let us see ourselves connected to all other Circles of Light around the planet with similar intent, creating a beautiful gridwork of Light. (Name a specific Circle if you wish, thus creating a permanent pathway.) See us now in a beautiful Pyramid/Temple of Love and Light, a sacred space where all of God's Kingdoms are held precious:the angelics, the humans, the fairies, devas and elementals, the mineral kingdom, the plant kingdom, the animals, the cetaceans, the oceans, the mountains, etc. Know that in this sacred space there is reverence for all of Life. Etc,etc! " Those in transition: Now we welcome those who are here by appointment this night as they make their transition from the earth plane. These ones no longer have bodies and are each accompanied by one who walks with them and helps them to see the Light of God as we hold the space for these transitions to take place. As always, as a pathway is made for these blessed souls, we thank them for their participation here, for their commitment, tell them how dearly they are loved and bless their souls, each and every one. This will continue until the end of our time together when all will have left this space. " Placing someone in the Circle: I place my friend Jane into the center of the Circle of Light for group focus. We bathe her in love, light and balance, allowing her to use this love in any way that she sees fit, for her highest good and the highest good of all. Releasing that image into the Light, and so it is. (The next person then knows that you are finished.) " Earth work: I see present with us in our Temple of Love, the Spirits of the mountains of the Ring of Fire, the Fire Chain. We welcome them and ask if they have a request of us. We thank them for all that they do and will assist them in any way that we can to maintain the balance that is perfect for the earth at this time. Letting that image fall away, and so it is! " Let us focus our attention on the continent of Africa, seeing solutions coming forth in the highest good of all, seeing the people well fed, healthy and productive. We see the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of all of us, and offer love and compassion to be used freely if so chosen. Releasing that image into the Light, and so it is! Many times we are nudged to do something new such as bring in and anchor a new frequency, idea or consciousness into the heart of the planet and into the grids. We honestly never know what we will do on any given night, so we leave ourselves open with our basic format and then just enjoy the ride. You too will develop a rhythm, a focus that is uniquely yours for your group and your area. You may want one person who sort of leads and facilitates or you may want to leave that open or you may want to take turns. Whatever your choices are, experiment and play, try new things. Each meeting members will become more confident to speak, to participate, etc. However, there will be those who do not wish to speak, but who prefer to just sit in the energies……that too is all right.
