Book Review Re-member - A Handbook for Human Evolution by Steve Rother Reviewed by Ron McCray

Every now and then a reviewer reads a book and wishes that the entire book could appear in the review. Re-member by Steve Rother is one such book. It is a collection of annotated channelings that the author conducted over the last few five years. Each of the channelings has a specific message provided by the Group, nine spiritual entities with whom Steve communicates, consisting of a few pages in length including an introduction and conclusion from Steve himself. Subjects chosen by the group range from the reasons for our human adventure on this planet to communicating with one's higher self to sex to manifesting what we desire to diet to taking "26 seconds to change your life" to the experience of passing to the other side of the veil to understanding circular time to manifesting what we desire to parenting to explaining how humanity avoided Armageddon. It is a veritable compendium of what is available in our New Age, the Second Wave of Empowerment. Throughout the book, the wisdom, humor, and profound love of the Group and the author are evident on every page. It is a joy to read just as it is.

At a deeper level, Re-member is a loving celebration of what it is to be human and the possibilities that our lives hold in this earthly three-dimensional energy in which we find ourselves. The Group presents its messages, not as instructions, but as information that each reader filters through his or her discernment to determine if the message resonates. If not, it is for someone else. The book itself is an intention in which we are given the "what and the why" of who we can be and leaves the "when, where, and how" to spirit, the essence of co-creation. When seen from this perspective, Re-member takes on a far greater significance than being just another channeled work.

The Group tells us that humanity's increasing vibrational level, begun in 1945, has averted the prophecies of Armageddon and ushered in the Second Wave of Empowerment. In this New Age, we have the potential for discovering more and more of what is behind the veil, having our bodies to cease aging and even rejuvenate, re-membering that we are finite expressions of the infinite with all of the powers of the infinite, manifesting that which is in our highest and best good, and rescripting the game plan for our lives to create heaven on earth. What exciting times we live in! The key task for us to accomplish is discovering and uniting with our spiritual family, those souls who are here with us and with whom we agreed to support and be supported by in this lifetime. As the Group tells us, "It is with the greatest of honor that we ask you to treat each other with respect, to nurture one another and to play well together."

Not only does Re-member provide a large array of information, there are many exercises that enable the reader to develop higher levels of awareness. Among them are a simple invocation before eating, a method to gain an understanding of circular time, and suggestions on communicating with one's higher self and guides. The book is organized into twenty chapters or topics that are major channelings from the Group. Reading the book from beginning to end has much value from the continuity of the information presented by the Group. There is also value in simply picking it up and selecting a chapter randomly or purposefully without reading what comes before and after. Re-member lives up to its subtitle as a Handbook for Human Evolution.
