This month, both Wolfgang and I talk about going back to the basics - and remembering that our journey is made up of baby-step after baby-step.

We hope that you enjoy your walk through life!

Things We Thought We Were Done With
This past month brought up something interesting for me.  Wolfgang and I recently attended a property auction.  The week leading up to the auction, I had lots of preparation to do - registering for the auction, working with mortgage companies to get pre-qualified for lending, putting together our packets of "stuff" that we were required to bring with us, and clearing out old money beliefs that I thought I was done with.

Several times during the week, as I was scanning tax returns or crunching numbers, I would find myself in a near panic.  Even though every indicator (including my higher guidance) said that money was not an issue, the knot in my stomach just didn't want to go away.  So, Wolfgang and I used some of our "tools" to clear through the issue.  By the time the auction came, there was no trace of the panic.

During this same time, I noticed Wolfgang dealing with food issues, in pretty much the same way that I was dealing with money issues.  He seemed obsessed about what we were eating, how often we ate, how the food made him feel, and on and on.  Again, we used our "tools" and he seems to be much more comfortable with food.

I've had friends tell me, every so often, that the energies of the planet are shifting and that these shifts sometimes cause old "stuff" to reappear in our lives.  I'm beginning to think that we're experiencing one of those shifts, because stuff has been showing up for more people than Wolfgang or me.  And I've noticed; people behave very differently when this old stuff shows up.

I've noticed that one of my clients has fallen back into a pattern that most people would say is "destructive".  While I try to stay out of the "good vs bad" arena, I can say that this pattern is one that my client had worked diligently to break - so I'm sorry to see that it's back.  If asked, I'll do my best to assist in moving past this and creating an new pattern that supports their life.

It seems that each time I change a belief that doesn't support me, or break a pattern that no longer suits my life - that somewhere, somehow, that belief or pattern comes back.  When it comes back, I have a choice.  I can choose to get frustrated and beat myself up (after all, I dealt with this, right?  What kind of loser am I to have to deal with it again?).  That's probably the least productive choice.  I can choose to grab hold of it - as if it had never been gone (again, probably not the most productive choice).  I can choose to re-experience it for a brief time, then "let it go" again.  I can pretend to ignore it.  Or, when I catch myself quickly enough, I can immediately see if for what it is - nothing but old memories, stored in the cells of my body, coming to the forefront to be cleared, because it's time.  When I see that clearly, it is so easy to allow the memories to leave without getting frustrated with myself or reliving my old life.

As I said, it seems that lots of people are dealing with things that they had previously conquered.  If you're one of those people, go easy on yourself and remember that you've dealt with this before.  You know how to move past this, you know how to let this go.  So, rather than getting frustrated (at yourself or the world), do what you know how to do.  Allow the cellular memory to dissolve, change the belief, break the pattern, release the grievances, and get back to your version of "the good life".  And if you need help - that's what friends, family, coaches, counselors, etc. are here for.

Namaste!
Susan

The Enemy

Throughout my life I have seen people want to do something with their lives.  Whether it is losing weight, quitting smoking or drinking, building a business, or helping people, plants or animals; everyone has something that they want to achieve.  Many of us have, or have had, these aspirations, and many of us have found endless excuses for why we cannot do what we so deeply desire.  So, where do these excuses come from?

For me, the “enemy” is resistance from within.  No matter how much it looks like someone or something outside of me is stopping me, it is always that same resistance.  When I release my resistance and take baby steps in the direction that I want to go; all outside factors fade away and doors of opportunity start to open.

It sounds easy, and after years of practice, it is.  All I ever look at is the energy that is presenting.  I release how I feel, and take a baby step in the desired direction.  On some issues that’s all it takes and I am off and running.  On larger issues, it may take me 100 baby steps before I am on my way.  It’s all part of my journey called life.

So, do you need help with releasing the energy within you that stops you from taking the next step?  Susan and I, and many others, can help.

Lots of love,
Wolfgang
