Before our wonderful conference in Big Bear Lake I want to share a little bit about the Neptune, Jupiter, and Chiron conjunction, positioned at 25 degrees Pisces. This astrological aspect is triggering a monumental healing opportunity for humanity. Issues in the national spotlight due to this aspect are health care, progressive scientific research, and issues regarding the quality of life on planet earth.  Personal issues such as confusion, addiction, spiritual alienation, feelings of being an outcast in society, and illusion may create crisis within your life. Many of my clients report that they are experiencing a ‘gut knowing’ that the Earth is truly ready for a healing, and this feeling is coupled with an earnest commitment to ‘Heal Thyself’ in the process. Neptune, the planet of glamour, spiritual beauty, and compassion rules the Hanged One in the Major Arana. The Hanged One suggests that we turn our lives inside out and surrender to the grasp of fate that has tied us to past karma. There is a sudden reversal of circumstance and meaning to life with the appearance of the Hanged One, one that brings humility, compassion, and a greater understanding of the Spiritual Self.

Jupiter, the planet of abundance, goodwill, and adventure rules The Wheel of Fortune in the Major Arcana.  In psychological terminology, The Wheel of Fortune represents the circumstances of change that spin us toward new crossroads in life. Ultimately, each individual must discover a new pattern of existence that is liberating; freeing one from the meaningless conundrum of old habits and attachments.

 Chiron's mythology tells us that Chiron was a centaur -- half horse and half man -- a product of an illicit union between Saturn (Cronus) and the sea nymph Philyra, and is a powerful representation of the Wounded Healer that lives within the heart of humanity. Therefore, Chiron rules the people, those who heal and those who wish to be healed. . When Chiron’s mother saw "the monster" she had given birth to, half horse and half man, she abandoned him. Nonetheless, the little orphan grew up to be a master teacher of many subjects including astrology, medicine, and music. Later, Chiron taught his students how to become "sacred warriors" - how to follow their quests and turn their inner wound into a great gift of healing.

 The Neptune/Jupiter/Chiron conjunction serves as a spiritual teacher, awakening consciousness and empowering each surrendered soul traversing the great wheel of life.  As we grow, each tender tear represents another drop of love that will moisten the soul of Humanity. In the Asian culture the word ‘crises’ is synonymous with the word ‘opportunity,’ suggesting an alignment with The Wheel of Fortune.  When we are cracked wide open by the unforeseen influence of change, a tender healing is hidden within the unchartered terrain of the soul, often reflected in the tarot as the Hanged One. Remember the virtue of compassion and empathy as represented by Chiron and you shall reap the rewards of the life lessons that have come into your life.
