It never ceases to amaze me how simple life can actually be when we simply remember that we don’t have to do it all alone.  That we live in a world surrounded by throngs of angels who are standing by waiting ever so patiently to help us, if only we would ask.  But oh no, most of us would rather put our nose to the grind stone and muddle through somehow; all the while remembering our upbringing by parents/grandparents, many of whom lived through the Great Depression, who told us, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” So rather than even considering our options, we pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and forge onward.

All one need do is peruse the news headlines to know that we currently live in rather tumultuous times.  Some call this current state of affairs "chaos"; others say it is a "crisis."  I prefer to call it a "condition" as that is what it is.  It's just another state of being, not a permanent calamity.  And so it is with that in mind that I ask you,  "How would you like to THRIVE instead of just SURVIVE in the midst of this current economic "condition"?


At every point in history, even during tumultuous times, there are always those who THRIVE.  I believe you can be one of those people.  But I don’t want you to just take my word for it, since after all I am just one of you, a mere mortal, only I somehow got hooked up with the job of being a Contemporary Mystic.  So I did what I do best … I asked the angels what we should do.  My question was simple, “What can you tell us to give us HOPE?” Their answer was even simpler, especially for those of you who have been studying the Law of Attraction for any length of time … Get clear about what you want, decide what you will and won’t accept in your life, and have absolute faith in a positive outcome.

Upon invoking the angelic beings, St. Germain was the first to show up, with a reminder that we have the power to resolve this situation. As co-creative spiritual beings, having a human experience, we need only remember who we really are and put our power into action. We must get a crystal clear picture of what we’d like our world, and our lives, to look like.  Then we must believe with all our heart and all our soul that we can have what it is we are wanting. In fact, we have to believe it so much that we can actually feel the excitement of how we will feel when we actually have it.  And then we must do things that put us in that same energetic state of being, thereby enabling us through the Law of Attraction to actually draw those things to us.

“Thank you St. Germain,” I said, “you’ve made it all seem so easy.”  Well if it’s that easy, then pray tell, why does it all seem so difficult? 

Once again the angels tell us that the answer is simple … “We are not seeing things clearly. We are buying into the illusion of what is going on all around us.”  Rather than listening to the critics, naysayers and skeptics (i.e. the news media) and believing that the sky is falling, perhaps we should remember what is truth.  And the truth of the matter is that things aren’t really falling apart; rather they are changing, growing and evolving into something so much grander and greater than anything we have ever known. 

Let’s look at one example of how this is playing out in our lives.  And just for the sake of everyone’s sanity, I’m going to keep it off the subject of the economy and finances.  Let’s look at the number of marriages that have ended in divorce in the past few decades.  As we all know divorce rates have sky rocketed.  And as sad as that is, the reality is, that this is just part of an evolutionary process.  The old way of interacting in relationships was ego driven, instead of love driven.  If everything continued to flow effortlessly in the old way of interacting with others, where would the impetus be to find a new and better way of being?  The natural evolution of things is for the old systems to fall apart, to create room … and a reason … for something new.  


Keeping with this theme of a new way of being in relationship with another, the next celestial being to come forward with a message was Lady Nada, an ascended master who works with St. Germain and Archangel Michael to help us balance the male and female energies in the world.  Her message was similar to that of the Divine Union Angelic Message Portrait™ I recently did.  They both remind us of the unique and blessed balance that occurs in each of us when we blend the divine feminine and the divine masculine energies within ourselves. Both of these aspects are necessary for life … both enrich our experience here … both are GOD.  Our present society has been under masculine rule for centuries; but the pendulum is once again swinging in the other direction.  We are entering a time on the planet where the Divine Feminine energy is re-emerging. As individual aspects of this microcosm called Earth, we too are sensing a softening within ourselves … a heart opening if you will … an expansion of LOVE.

The prophet Moses came forward next with brilliant words of wisdom. “Take charge of this situation,” he said.   While this message is for everyone, it most certainly rings true for Lightworkers. It is time for each of you to take charge and assume a leadership position. As St. Germain told me a few years ago, “Anyone who ever thought they might be a Lightworker IS, and they are being called to active duty.  Anyone who already is a Lightworker is being asked to step it up a notch, because Mother Earth needs you NOW.” 

What this means for everyone is that you have it within your control to create a brave new world.  You have it within your control to create a whole new reality … a reality based on love, not fear; equality, not discrimination.  A reality in which the betterment of the whole, out weighs the betterment of the one … A reality in which we openly communicate our feelings and needs, without fear of retribution … A reality in which those feelings are warmly received, accepted and valued … A reality in which each of us matters, each of us is respected, each of us is valued for the unique, individual being that we are.  And collectively we co-create HOPE, where once there was only fear.

In summary I might add that the final Celestial Being who came forward in my quest for HOPE was Lakshmi.  This Hindu goddess of prosperity’s role is to help us overcome financial fears and tap into the river of abundance that is available to everyone.  She reminds us that true prosperity includes perfect health, perfect wealth, perfect love and perfect happiness. If you are in agreement with the angels and I, that this is the world in which you now choose to live, then I invite you to join us in co-creating this wonderful new reality.



As is often the case when I’m doing this type of work, the process of creating the Angel of Hope actually resembled the message the angels were trying to convey.  Before I explain to you what transpired I must share with you that these Angelic Message Portraits™ generally flow quite effortlessly. Often they appear on the page before I even realize what’s happening.  Well today things did not flow at all like that, instead they were an absolute representation of what is transpiring in most of our lives. The process was replete with angst and anguish and frustration and discouragement. Even the CD player wouldn’t work to help me set the mood. (Not until I put in Peter Sterling’s CD, “The Angels Gift” that is, and then it played all day long.) I felt like I had no idea what I was doing, or how I should go about creating this.  It was almost as if I had never done this before.  Things got so crazy in fact, that I actually thought the portrait was over half done when I found myself simply erasing the entire angel and re-building upon what had already been constructed.

Well isn’t that what’s happening in our world right now. The things that used to work, the methods we used to rely on, are somehow not bringing us the results we’re after.  It’s not that they’re entirely broken, they just seem to be falling apart at the seams, and no one seems to know how to mend them.  Why?  The answer, yet again, is simple: It’s time to do things better.  It’s not a revolution we’re seeking, it’s a kinder, gentler, more loving approach to life that we’re after … and that folks, includes business, finances, world affairs and even our own interpersonal relationships. Artist’s Statement
Wow, I’m an artist. Not only that, I’m a Visionary Artist. How I got here is as big a mystery to me as it is to anyone?  

I spent most of my adult life living someone else’s idea of who and what I should be.  I believe that “someone” was the media, or pop culture, or whoever created the super woman syndrome complete with the notion that women should try to emulate men in the workaholic professional world, while simultaneously being the perfect wife, doting mother and home maker extraordinaire.  I gave it my best shot, but somehow it never quite seemed to be a good fit.

Shortly after the Harmonic Convergence took place in 1987 (a time of awakening for many) I began to see the light.  Anything and everything of a spiritual nature began to intrigue me.  My divine communication channels began to magically open, much like a bud turns into a flower in the spring. This “opening” very slowly and ever so gradually transformed me from a type A businesswoman into a visionary artist who creates mystical angel art.

I began channeling messages (receiving telepathic communications) from my Mom who made her transition to the other side in 1980. Yes, I know most folks channel angels or spiritual guides, and I do that too, but you see my Mom is the spokesperson for this incredible Divine team that I have the honor of working with.  Her messages guided me to become a Spiritual Life Coach (which I didn’t even know existed), and then to teach angel communication classes (to empower others to do what I was doing with her) and most recently her messages were to DRAW. 

I resisted at first, but eventually decided to humor her. And then it happened … I sat there in front of my altar with a blank piece of paper and the angelic messages started pouring in … they told me what colors to use, what to draw, where to place it, what it meant.  It was the most incredible thing I've yet to experience in this lifetime.  The angels told me to use this medium to bring forth their messages … an "angel reading" if you will … with an artistic message that goes straight to the heart.

And so that’s what I do.  I invoke the angelic realm and ask them questions like, “What does the world need to know NOW about world peace, or attracting a soul mate, or creating a harmonious family environment,
or stopping the sexual abuse of children?”  Then I listen to, and record, their words of wisdom. And when their message on the subject in question is complete they tell me not only what to draw, but how to do it.  The colors, the symbols, the energy coming through my hands, all gets embedded into the page, creating artistic pieces that serve as emotional healing tools. It is what the angels infuse into the art that truly heals your heart and in turn your mind, body, and soul. 

As I write this I can hear the speculation these words must stir up.  Trust me when I tell you, I was a bigger skeptic about all of this than anyone.  So I decided to  test the concept on my deepest and darkest wounds.  When the healings began to occur within me, I could no longer deny what was happening.

By opening to this process I have seen magic occur before my very eyes.  Today I’m no longer living someone else’s version of reality; I’m now doing what I came here to do. Together, with the help of the angels, I have the honor and joy of creating Angelic Message Portraits™ that bring a feeling of wonderment and
profound healing to all who view them. 

Plus, with no formal artistic training, I’ve created art that’s been so well received it has found homes in over twelve countries around the world. Now that’s magic in and of itself.
