I accept responsibility for all my thoughts, words and actions. I realize that I was the one who gave up my power through fear and misunderstanding. I believed in their mistruths when they told me I was responsible their happiness or lack of it, that it was up to me take care of others...even at my own expense. I believed what I was told and my life was totally out of balance and filled with pain, suffering and lack. To this extent, I believed I had to do this in every area of my life and with everyone. So it just became expected. In doing this, I enabled others and kept us all in bondage. If all could rely on me to make things better for them, they didn\'t have to do anything for themselves. In the end, we all wound up disappointed. I thought my worth was in pleasing others and that I had no worth of my own other than making every attempt to make the world of others better than my own. Of course, when that failed, I assumed and accepted the blame and thought myself a complete failure and unworthy of love, of God\'s blessings or even my own life. The pain of this was so great that I thought others would be better off if I were dead. No bad people, just poor thoughts and beliefs. I am the only one who can bring happiness, abundance, fulfillment, joy, etc. to my life. I can\'t rely on anyone else for this and no one can rely on me to fulfill their every need either. It is my responsibility to open to the truths; the light; and a new way of thinking, believing, and behaving. It is my responsibility to value my own worth and only allow that which honors my divine self into my life. I am responsible for me. I can guide and love others, but I am not responsible for their lives. They are responsible for their own happiness, fulfillment, thoughts, beliefs, and actions. This empowers them and myself.
