I ask so that I can overcome and never be abusive towards my own child and future children. I ask for healing for my own mental state so that I will no longer be attracted to abusive people and so that I can be healed from the mindset that if someone does not abuse me they don\'t care about me. I also ask for healing for myself so that I will never try to abuse anyone just to test them. Please heal me from the cycle of negativity and help me realize that love is never supposed to hurt any of the parties involved.

And as I address the wound, the rawness begins to dry, the edges converge toward the center and it shrinks. Why was the wound here to begin with? It gave me something to do, to focus on, to be responsible for. In the shortsightedness of fears, I forget that all is well, and I am in need of nothing. This has been a healing. Thank you.
