I got up this morning feeling detoxish – stuffy and coughing; bummed because I knew I would have to face the Humor room feeling like a grump. So I put it off and went on my errands in town. As I was taking care of business, I thought I would get some help with my Humor assignment, so I asked some people what was funny about our Earthly plight. And, wow, what a riot; jokes from the Power of Now to Hitch Hiker’s guide to the Universe! As my neighbor, Phil, and I were discussing a creek issue, he signed and said, “It never ends, does it?” He continued pensively, “well nor does the Universe, so I guess it’s all good”. We both chuckled and then he added’ “if I’m going to have lines on my face let it be the smiley kind, because at least you look better!” And I thought, well, if all this Spiritual stuff turns out to be a big farce, at least when I die, I’ll look better with my smiley lines! :-} And so it is.
