Steve
Rother was comfortably settled in the life of a General Building
Contractor in San Diego, California, when his life took a turn.
In 1996 he began receiving divinely inspired messages from a collective
of angels who he simply called “the Group”. Being a
channel was not exactly what he had in mind, but soon he started
publishing monthly messages from the Group on the internet and the
work of Lightworker began to grow. The Group’s messages were
well received and soon the web site www.Lightworker.com was started
to house the important information coming in from the Group. As
the work grew the Group suggested to Steve that he offer private
one on one empowerment sessions where people could see themselves
from the perspective of “the Group”. He called these
Re-member sessions. They were a hit and the Group’s message
began to spread globally. During these sessions Steve saw patterns
emerging as the Group guided him to work with clients. They showed
him ways of working with people, getting to core issues quickly
and empowering them to make positive changes, all the while not
taking away their power from them or fixing them in any way. He
was shown how to create a safe space for others to heal themselves,
which is the Group's definition of a Master Healer. The Group told
Steve all along that the empowerment work he was doing was not exclusive,
and in fact could be taught to others. In fact in the first three
years of presenting seminars included exercises to show everyone
what it was like to channel. Steve and Barbara hold the distinction
of being the first to teach a class on channeling at a United
Nations facility. Now they are passing on the tools that the Group gave him to others who are using their words to work with others. 
During Re-member
sessions the Group helped people to identify their primary life
lessons to see the patterns of their own lives and how to best
change them. Once they re-membered the set up it was easier to
see the key players in their lives and the roles they themselves
asked them to play. The Group says that there are twelve primary
life lessons and that we choose one in each incarnation and work
with it until we master it. Once a person masters between eight
and ten of these primary life lessons they are complete with the
Game of Free Choice on Planet Earth, and need not return. 
Today,
private Re-member sessions with Steve and the Group are booking
five to six months in advance. Those early messages, known as
the Beacons of Light ~ Re-minders from Home, are now delivered
to over 50,000 people in 146 countries each month. Steve and Barbara
Rother are now internationally renowned lecturers, seminar leaders
and are known as empowerment catalysts. Divinely inspired information
from "the Group" through Steve was the origin of the
ground-breaking information on the Crystal Children, Transition
Teams, The Master Healers, The Human Angels, The 8 Sacred Rooms
of Creation, Trio logy, Atlantis and Lemuria, The E-factor, and
much, much more. Besides the book Spiritual Psychology, Steve is the author of the widely distributed
books as well
as the Beacons of Light Re-minders from Home which are still distributed
monthly through Lightworker.com. Steve and Barbara, his wife and
partner of 35 years, present this information to spiritual family
gatherings worldwide.
